All Souls Memorial Mass at St Mary’s

November 21st, 2014

More than 250 people attended the All Souls Memorial Mass for their loved ones at St Marys Church, in Paddington Green, on Sunday 2nd November 2014.

An hour-long mass was conducted by both Father Gary Bradley and Father Anthony Speakman. The service included a selection of Choral Pieces sung by the church choir and a blessing for all the lost souls of past clients of E A Langley and the Parish of Paddington Green.

The service was expressed through a Requiem Mass. Beverley Lodge (Director), who also attended, said that the service was both well attended and very moving.

Paul Bye, District Manager for E A Langley, said: “It was so comforting to see so many of our clients again and hear how much they appreciated being remembered. I think it is important to recognise that even if you are not particularly religious, the church plays a key part in dealing with grief and grieving, knowing that others are going through what you are going through is a definite comfort.”

Following the services E A Langley provided Sparkling Wine and Canapés to the congregation and many people stayed to socialise.
